With 14 weeks in the books, Brandon Tierney leads Tiki Barber in the Weekly 6-Pack of Picks. In fact, Tierney, with a 48-32-5 record (59.41 percent), is more than seven percentage points ahead of Barber, who is 44-40-1 (52.35 percent).

Looking ahead to Week 15, Tierney likes the Panthers (-4.5) at the Giants, the Eagles (+3.5) against the Cardinals, the Jags (-3) against the Falcons, and is taking the under in Bengals/49ers (40.5).

“Everybody loves the Giants at home,” Tierney said. “We’ve seen this before. ‘Oh, they’re going to stop the streak of perfection. Oh, they’re getting a lot of points. Oh, they’re going to do this.’ Here’s what they’re going to do: They’re going to get destroyed. Panthers, I’m laying the wood. I’m doing it with zero hesitation. I think this is one of those instances where people are latching on to old narratives and trying to apply it now. The difference is, those Giants teams could run the ball. Those Giants teams had fierce pass rushers. This team has one weapon. That’s Odell Beckham. And, oh yeah, by the way, here’s the best cornerback in football (Josh Norman) – not to shut (Beckham) down, but I think to prevent him from going bonkers for like 170. I don’t see that. I got Carolina.”

Tierney also likes New Mexico (+7.5) over Arizona and Appalachian State (-7.5) over Ohio.

Barber, meanwhile, likes the Chiefs (-7) at Ravens, the Pats (-14) against the Titans, the Steelers (-6.5) against the Broncos, and the Bears (+6) at the Vikings.

“This Chicago team is interesting,” Barber said. “I think that Jay Cutler, as much as we want to vilify him, I think he’s playing much better football than I think we’re paying attention to. So I’m going to take Chicago getting six pints against the Minnesota Vikings.”

Barber also likes BYU (+2.5) against Utah and Arkansas State (+2) against Louisiana Tech.
