The weekly 6-Pack of Picks remains closely contested, as Tiki Barber maintains a slight lead over Brandon Tierney, 32-27-1 (55.8 percent) to 30-26-4 (53.3 percent).
Barber went 3-3 last week, picking three college games correctly and three NFL games incorrectly, while Tierney went a solid 4-2.
Looking ahead to Week 11, Barber likes Washington (+7) at Carolina, Dallas (-1) at Miami, and is taking the over in Denver/Chicago (41). He also likes Michigan State (+13.5) at Ohio State, Stanford (-11) against Cal, and FAU (+31) at Florida.
“Michigan State, give me (that spread against) Ohio State,” Barber said. “That’s a big number. A lot of people look at what Ohio State has done – and they’ve had some pretty impressive wins – but they haven’t played anybody. Michigan State, they have a loss on their record, but they’re not a slouch like this. (They’re giving) almost two touchdowns to a Big Ten rival in a huge conference game? I’m riding with Michigan State in this one getting 13 points.”
Tierney, meanwhile, likes Detroit (+1) against Oakland, Indianapolis (+5.5) at Atlanta, and Buffalo (+7) at New England.
“No Edelman, O-Line issues, Rex and the guys – I don’t know if they’ll win – but he usually plays the Pats tight,” Tierney said. “I think the Bills are starting tor found into form. I’m rolling with Buffalo.”
Tierney also likes Rutgers (-4.5) at Army, Old Dominion (+21.5) at Southern Miss, and is taking the under in North Texas/Middle Tennessee State (64).
