Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney gave their 6-Pack of Picks on Friday, with each predicting the outcomes of three NFL games and three college games.
Looking at the NFL, Barber is taking the Chargers (-3) at home against the Lions, the Dolphins (-3.5) on the road against the Redskins, and the Titans (+3) on the road against the Buccaneers, while Tierney likes the Chiefs (+1) on the road against the Texans and the Bills (+2.5) at home against the Colts. Tierney is also taking the under on the Saints/Cardinals game (48.5).
“I think the Chiefs win this game,” Tierney said. “I got them as a playoff team. It’s the kind of game you’re going to have to win against a team with a shaky quarterback. I like Kansas City.”
Moving to college football, Barber likes UCLA (-29.5) over UNLV, Boise State (-2.5) over BYU, and Georgia Tech (-30.5) over Tulane. Tierney, meanwhile, likes Texas Tech (-20) over UTEP, SDSU (+14) over Cal, and North Texas (+5.5) over SMU.
“My Cavaliers saw this guy last week in Josh Rosen,” Barber said. “Josh Rosen – on all his touchdown passes – had pressure. So you can throw pressure at Josh Rosen as a true freshman. He’s going to handle it.”
